Information We Collect

Personal Information

Name, email address, and other contact details you provide.

Credential Information

Passwords and security information used to access your account and access third party services you connected to your account.

Third-Party Service Data

When you connect third-party services (Twitch, Blizzard, Discord, YouTube, TikTok, Bluesky, Kick, Fourthwall) to your account, we may access and collect information from these services as permitted by you and their respective APIs. This may include profile information, content data, and activity information necessary to provide our services.

YouTube API Services

Mythision uses YouTube API Services to provide certain features. For information about how Google handles data, please see the Google Privacy Policy.

When you connect your YouTube account, we collect and store:

  • Access tokens and authorized scopes for API access
  • YouTube channel ID and display name
  • Playlist information and video data from fallback playlists used in overlays (refreshed at most every 10 minutes while the overlay is active)
  • Stream activity data including the last 1,000 live stream events, chat messages, subscriptions, and other channel events
  • The last 1,000 videos posted to connected channels or channels added to Discord webhooks
  • Video metadata (cached for up to 7 days, refreshed every 30 minutes as needed)
  • YouTube category data (cached for up to 4 weeks, refreshed every 7 days as needed)

Usage Data

Information about how you use our website, such as pages visited and interactions.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use a single first-party session cookie (HTTP-only) to keep you signed in and secure your account. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We also use your browser`s local storage to remember certain preferences (for example, UI/overlay settings). These values stay on your device unless you clear them; removing them may reset your preferences or sign you out.

Our content‑delivery and security provider, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary cookies and cache content to provide DDoS protection and performance. These cookies are not used for advertising. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.

You can control or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings.

How We Use Your Information

Account Management

To manage your account, authenticate your identity, and provide customer support.

Third Party Integration

To connect and interact with services you have linked to your account, including accessing and displaying content from these services within our platform.

Content Moderation

We use Google services to process and moderate messages related to tips, Fourthwall donations, and Twitch channel point redemptions. This may include automated scanning or filtering of messages to ensure compliance with our guidelines.

Communication

We only send transactional communications necessary to provide the service—for example account creation and sign-in emails, security or permission change alerts, and notices about service or policy changes that affect your account. We do not send marketing emails, newsletters, or other non-essential communications.

Legal Compliance

We may process, preserve, and disclose information as necessary to comply with laws or legal requests; enforce our Terms of Service; detect, prevent, or address fraud, abuse, spam, security, or technical issues; and protect the rights, property, and safety of Mythision, our users, or the public.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Third-party services you have connected to your account (Twitch, Blizzard, Discord, YouTube, TikTok, Bluesky, Kick, Fourthwall)
  • Google services for content moderation and processing
  • Service providers who assist us in operating our website
  • Legal authorities as required by law or to protect our rights
  • Cloudflare (CDN/reverse proxy and security) to deliver site content, provide DDoS protection, and temporary edge caching; Cloudflare may process IP addresses and request metadata subject to its privacy policy.

Data shared with connected third-party services is subject to their respective privacy policies. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any service you choose to connect.

Data Retention

We retain different types of data for varying periods:

  • YouTube access tokens and channel information: Until you disconnect your account
  • YouTube stream events and chat data: Last 1,000 entries per connected channel
  • YouTube video data: Last 1,000 videos per channel, with metadata cached for up to 7 days
  • YouTube category data: Cached for up to 4 weeks
  • Other personal data: As necessary to provide services or as required by law

When you disconnect a YouTube account, all associated access tokens, scopes, channel ID, and display name data are immediately deleted.

Data Retention and Access Control

In addition to our normal procedure for deleting stored data, if you have connected YouTube or other Google services to your account, you can revoke our access to your data via the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
